Some Layouts I Made Recently....

This is a layout of my baby girl... one of those pictures that you just have to scrap, but really no story behind.This is a close up on the rubons I used for the swirls.
This layout is about my hubby leaving us to relocate to another city for a job. We couldn't go with him because there were a couple of months left of school. So we stayed behind.

And this is a close up on a flower. Thank you for Looking.

Good and Bad News...

Ok so the good news is that I finally got my confidence up enough to apply for some Design Teams and Guest Designer positions (thank you Myia who inspired me to do so) and this week I applied for My Scrapbook Nook's design team and was one of the FINALISTS!!!! There were 116 applications total and 36 finalists... and can you believe I was one of those 36!!!!! This was my first time trying out for any design team and I landed in the top 36!!!! this is huge for me.

Ok, the bad news.... I didn't make the team. :( But it is ok because I am still riding high knowing that i was amongst 35 other finalists that had mega talent!!! The Design Team is awesome... not to mention they have bomb ass (can i say that on my blog??? lol) monthly kits!! I might just have to subscribe to their kits and reapply in 6 months! ;)

A Great Scrap Day!!!

I had a great time today scrappin with Myia (http://www.myiashantrice.blogspot.com/ ) at Scrappin' Time. We spent the day giggling and laughing and just enjoying the day scrappin! Green Valley Crop LO's and more....

Yesterday I attended my first Las Vegas Crop! I was a bit nervous at first... you know meeting new people... but soon after i arrived, I knew everyone was going to be very nice! I was right! The ladies were very inviting and very sweet! I had a great time and even won the Sketch Challenge!!!! Here is the winning LO:

Also, I wanted to share a layout I made for a MME sketch challenge. I made this one last week: When i went to take a picture of it to post, the wind blew it in the pool! LOL Anyway, i never submitted to MME because I realized that I neglected one part of the challenge... to use "Hope" on the LO! Urgh!!!

Lastly, I made this layout back in May and forgot to post it. It was made from a sketch and forgive me but I have forgotten where I got the sketch from!!! Sorry!!!!

My Scraproom

So I have been in Nevada for 13 days and I have finally unpacked my scraproom!!! It's not the best, it's small, but it's mine! :) Now...... back to scrappin'!

Still in the process of Moving...

To all my followers... I know it's been a minute since I have posted and/or shared any layouts but I have been trying to get ready for the move. Last week was my last day of work. My Office gave me a very nice (and emotional) Farewell luncheon at Lucille's.And now... I am offically a SAHM!!!! Yippee!!! :0) Just a few more days and I will be able to unpack into my new scraproom! Woohoo!!! And yes! this will be the first room I put together! (LOL) It is killing me NOT to scrap!!!! However, I already have my first crop set for the end of July (in my new area) and I am looking forward to meeting ladies with the same passion !!! Hopefully I will have some layouts to post by the end of July! Stay tuned!!! :0)
