Buddies - Digi LO

You all know that I love to make traditional scrapbook pages. I have made a couple of digital layouts in the past but my passion has always been traditional.  Well recently I got inspired from one of my new followers Kiana.  She does digital pages and when I went to her blog, I was so inspired to create another digital layout.  So I jumped online and bought a really cute collection called Life Under Construction by Nicole Young from Digital Scrapbook Place.  Here's what i came up with:

I created this layout for If Its Groovy.  I had so much fun using this digital kit!!!  Thank you Kiana for inspiring me to create a digi layout! :)

I just love when I find the perfect paper collection for my photos!!  And I did with BasicGrey's Paper Cottage Collection!  Check out this layout I did with the collection:

I created this layout for the sketch challenge over at Artful Delight. Here's the sketch:

I added layers for the Scrapbook Steals Monday Craft Madness "layering" challenge and also clustered my embellishments and stitching for the Back Porch Memories "All About the Details" challenge.   Last but not least, I added 9 silver pearls all around my layout for the 12 Days of Christmas challenge over at Frosted Designs.  I have to say... I love how it turned out! :) 

This next layout I created for If It's Groovy.  Since it's the cold time of the year and I am rushing around trying to get ready for the holidays, I wanted to remember when I was on vacation relaxing in the sun sippin' the good stuff! LOL

Here are a couple of layouts I did.....

First Day of School

I used the MOB Oct. Big Sisters

This layout was super fun to do! I made this layout for If It's Groovy Blog showcasing the use of masking.  I used a stencil from Crafter's Workshop and a Dew Drop ink pad to create effect in the top left and bottom right corner. I really like how just that little bit of masking really made my layout pop!

If It's Groovy

Oh, I love ribbon... and I've had these chevron ribbons sitting around for a while! I couldn't wait to put a layout together using these ribbons. I created this layout for If It's Groovy. I used Little Yellow Bicycle's collection, I knew it was perfect for the ribbon and photo I wanted to scrap.  Here's what i came up with:  

I also included close ups on the ribbon banner pieces and the handmade flower I made using the same Chevron ribbon. 

I love how my ribbon flower came out!! I will have to make more of these!!!

My Friend Layout

Hi There!  I just wanted to share a layout I made for If it's Groovy.  I also added border punches for the border punch challenge over at Funtoola.

I used  Bo Bunny's Little Miss Collection for this layout.  The doggie in that collection looks just like my Rocky!!! :)   Other product: AC Thickers, AC Trim, Recollection Bling, misc. button,  crochet trim and twine.
