5 Year Anniversary...

5 years ago I was blessed to marry my best friend. My husband is the best hubby in the world! I am sooooo fortunate to have such a wonderful husband, marriage and family. Tomorrow we will be going on our date.... fine dining and a show, "Peepshow" at Planet Hollwyood!!! As many of you know, I am not much of a card maker, but this card, i made especially for him..... (** note the wedding picture behind the card! lol)

I think I have finally finished my 2009 albums! These Halloween pictures have been sitting waiting for me to scrap but I never felt in a "themed" mood and couldn't get myself to finish it. Some Layouts I Made Recently....

This is a layout of my baby girl... one of those pictures that you just have to scrap, but really no story behind.This is a close up on the rubons I used for the swirls.
This layout is about my hubby leaving us to relocate to another city for a job. We couldn't go with him because there were a couple of months left of school. So we stayed behind.

Good and Bad News...

Ok so the good news is that I finally got my confidence up enough to apply for some Design Teams and Guest Designer positions (thank you Myia who inspired me to do so) and this week I applied for My Scrapbook Nook's design team and was one of the FINALISTS!!!! There were 116 applications total and 36 finalists... and can you believe I was one of those 36!!!!! This was my first time trying out for any design team and I landed in the top 36!!!! this is huge for me.

Ok, the bad news.... I didn't make the team. :( But it is ok because I am still riding high knowing that i was amongst 35 other finalists that had mega talent!!! The Design Team is awesome... not to mention they have bomb ass (can i say that on my blog??? lol) monthly kits!! I might just have to subscribe to their kits and reapply in 6 months! ;)
