Fall Fun Time

One tradition that my kids and I do is visit the Pumpkin Patch just before Halloween!  Here is a layout of us picking out our pumpkins so that we are ready for Halloween!!

I used Stuck on U Sketch  sketch:

along with Echo Parks Apothecary Collection for this If It's Groovy project.  Inspiration for the pumpkin patch comes form Child's Play  - "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown"  challenge and Halloween themed challenges from  Crafting Marfa  and  Little Scrap Pieces.  Lastly, the word "Fall" is inspired by Funtoola's  Fall challenge and Bird is The Word word challenge.

First day of School & Big Sisters

Here are a couple of layouts I did.....

First Day of School

I used the MOB Oct. Scrapbook Kit for this layout along with a sketch I created for the Oct sketch challenge.  You can find more information on this challenge and Kit HERE.  I'm also submitting this layout to For The Luv of Art for their School Days Challenge.  You can find more information  on this challenge HERE. 

Big Sisters

This layout was super fun to do! I made this layout for If It's Groovy Blog showcasing the use of masking.  I used a stencil from Crafter's Workshop and a Dew Drop ink pad to create effect in the top left and bottom right corner. I really like how just that little bit of masking really made my layout pop!

If It's Groovy

Oh, I love ribbon... and I've had these chevron ribbons sitting around for a while! I couldn't wait to put a layout together using these ribbons. I created this layout for If It's Groovy. I used Little Yellow Bicycle's collection, I knew it was perfect for the ribbon and photo I wanted to scrap.  Here's what i came up with:  

I also included close ups on the ribbon banner pieces and the handmade flower I made using the same Chevron ribbon. 

I love how my ribbon flower came out!! I will have to make more of these!!!
