Water Fun

Hey Crafters!  Today I am sharing with you a layout I created from a sketch I made for Scrap Our Stash! 

My layout:

The challenge this month was to create a layout based on the sketch below and to create your own background using cardstock, stencils/masks and any type of medium (ink, paint, etc)  from your stash. 

Here's the sketch:

I started with mist sprays. Then used a Crafter's Workshop chevron stencil with ink. After, I added the little triangles with a rolling stamp by Glitz. I added the think black circles using a lid of a sugar jar. For my finishing touch, I doodled around the page.

More Layouts Completed!

Hi All! 

I just love scrappin' with my scrap buddy Stacy!!  I get so much done! :)  Here are a couple of layouts I completed today. 

This layout is a lift from Jennifer Haggerty.  She has a Scraplift challenge going on this month over at Sketch~N~Scrap.   I also submitted over at Sketches4All for Libby's Wood challenge. The cute wood bow in the top left is from Recollections.

And here is another layout I completed for the Sketch~N~Scrap's Birthday Bash.  Kelly's Party Poppers challenge was to have some sort of "confetti" on your layout. I went with sequin.  I also combined this layout with Sketches 4 All multi-photo challenge.

Nice Scrappin' Day :)

What are the chances that someone you know in the online scrapbook community that you have never met personally…  lives in the same city as you… and not only does your children go to the same school… but they are in the same class!!!  How cool is that!  That is how I met Stacy from Sketches 4 All.  I invited her daughter to my son's birthday party and she recognized my name! :)   Needless to say, we talked "craft" every minute I could at the party and shortly there after we were scrapping together like we were long time friends! :)   

So here are a couple of layouts I made while scrapping with Stacy the other day:

Paper Secrets May 1st Sketch Reveal

"All My Love" Layout

Hey Crafters! I hope you all had a very crafty National Scrapbooking Day!  I spent my day in my craft room and was able to knock out some Design Team assignments along with some other challenges! 

Here's one of the layout I created on NSD:

Purple is not a color I like very much! lol  I realized that I don't have much purple in my stash.  I only had this one older collection from Pink Paislee. It worked perfect for the challenges I created this layout for:

Scrap Our Stash - Stash challenge #14: The challenge is to use something older than 6 months (Pink Paislee paper), something new within 6 months (Enamel Dots), fussy cut (title and flowers) and something blue (baby blue in patterned paper).

Challenge YOUrself #5: Create a layout with a photo of yourself and 3 trendy things.  My 3 trendy items things are twine, wood veneers and washi tape.

Sketches 4 All: use black on your layout.

I am so EXCITED to announce that I was asked to be a Guest Designer for the
