Storing Paper

So my friend Kristi (http://devosmommy.blogspot.com/) and I were talking today about how we store our paper and that we need a better way! (LOL) I decided to post some pictures of how I store my paper. It's not the best way, but it works for me!

I use Iris containers to store my paper kits, new(er) paper, themed papers, and my favorite papers. I have both of these shelves under my desk and table. Thank you Kristi for one of the shelves! :) *(I need to buy one more Iris container!)

And then I have a tall white cabinet that I originally stored my paper before I got out of control!!! LOL The top shelf is my cardstock (all sizes), the middle shelf is all kinds of different papers that are usually not my first choice to use, and old paper kits that I have used already and not really inspired to use right away. The last shelf is what I called my 'starter paper'! This is the shelf that my kids are able to play with! LOL

Like I said, not the best way to store my paper but it works! I love my paper!!!

Back from Vegas!!!! And Layouts (of course! LOL)

What happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas? Usually, yes but this time I came back with the same amount of money I had when I got there, so yeah... I think I did well!!

Hubby and I had a great time! Jamal got to relax and watch all the sports he wanted, while I made new friends at the Roulette Table! We stayed at the South Point Casino which was really nice! The room was very spacious and comfortable and was stocked with Bath & Body Works lotion/soaps! Two nights of non-interrupted sleep... awww!!! Now, back to reality!

But, the Scrapbooker I am, I went straight to scrapping when I got home! LOL :0) I figured I better get done what I can before the babies get home. So, I was able to complete 2 layouts....

HAPPY EASTER!!
This year my older 2 girls are with their dad for Spring Break and was not with me today. :( But Jaylah and I dyed a couple of eggs and had some good Easter candy! I also made a nice dinner for hubby. I made Oven-Braised Short Ribs!!! I think I did a good job too!! Thank you Recipe book!!!

My Friday Off

So I thought I would have lots of time to scrap today.... but my scrapbooking time got cut short due to a sick child! Yup... Jaylah came down with a fever and I had to pick her ( and Ryan) up from daycare. The good news is, I was able to complete 2 layouts!

And yes! LOL My babies go to daycare on my Friday off days! Shoot! I need a break too! :0)

Finally.....

It's been a while since I have been able to touch my paper!! LOL But I was able to do one Layout. This layout is of my sleeping beauty, daughter Jaylah. Jaylah always puts her hands together under her cheek when she sleeps. We just love it!
Also, I just want to give a shot out to Nicole who i met at the Gardena "Mixer" last Saturday! We will get together soon and scrapbook!! :)
