Some Exciting NEWS to Share!!!

I am SO excited to finally announce that I have been asked to be a Guest Designer for the next 3 months over at The Scrap Room!  OMG!!! I've been a subscriber for many years and always dreamed about designing for them.  So now my wish has come true!!! Woohoo!! :)  So I start with November. :)

Paper Secrets Nov Sketch challenge Layout

I had a lot of fun creating this shabby chic layout for Paper Secrets November 1st sketch challenge:

The twist is to use leaves. I used Recollections leaves on my page.  From the Paper Secrets store, I used  Maya Road Linen pieces, Zva bling, Prima light bulbs, and Queen and Co. bling.

LYB "Feels Like Home" Cycling Team!!

Hey Crafters!  I am so excited to reveal my layout I did as a Cycling Team Member for Little YellowBicycle.  I am so in love with LYB and was thrilled beyond belief when I received the announcement that I was picked for the “Feels Like Home” Cycling Team!!!  So with out further ado, here are my layouts:

There were so many yummy embellishments to use and I couldn’t decide which way I wanted to go.  But the “Fall” banner from the Fabric Favorites package was calling my name! 

For this layout I used Brenda's sketch and absolutely love it!!

Make a Wish Layout

Hello!! Today I am sharing with you a layout I created with the

Scrap Our Stash Sketch challenge:

Here's the sketch designed by Brenda:

The stash items was to use mists/inks/watercolors etc.  I used 2 brands of mists - Maya mist and Tattered Angels.  I really enjoyed created this layout particularly because I used different manufacturers and used up some stash! I used Bo Bunny, Pebbles and Ruby Rock-it papers and the embellishments are from Jenni Bowlin, Studio Calico, and American crafts, just to mentioned a few.  I also used Canvas star shapes and a tag from Linnie Blooms.

Paper Secrets Layout Reveal

Have you checked out Paper Secrets Oct. 15th sketch challenge yet?  It's a great sketch by DT Kelly Holifield:

And the twist - add alpha stickers

Here's my layout:

For the twist, I used mini alpha stickers in the bottom right of my layout.  I also used Teresa Collins Memorabilia Collection from Paper Secrets Store.  Other items from the store are the Studio Calico Wood Veneers and Doodlebug twine.  Make sure you check out the Store HERE.

Hello Crafters! Today I'm sharing with you a Fall card I made with the Linnie Blooms Canvas Leaves.  I really wanted to use the cute canvas Owl from Linnie Blooms but the postal carrier still has it! lol However, I LOVE the canvas leaves and can't get enough of them so I wanted to showcase them on this card.

I didn't do anything fancy other than mix the different mist/inks to create the colors.  I started with a cat-eye ink pad (brown) and inked the edges. Then I used Maya mist (Lemon) with added that color to the leaves with a brush. Lastly, I took Tattered Angels mist (Tiger Lily)on the outer parts of the leaves. I used water to blend the mists together.

SOS Tic Tac Toe Layout & Winner Announced!!

Hey Crafters!  Have I told you how much I love my new scrap room! :) I am about 95% done with putting it together. I'll post photos soon... but right now I want to share with you a layout I made using a sketch from Scrap Friends:

I had so much fun with this sketch! I had recently bought new stencils from Paper Secrets Store and I couldn't wait to play with them.  This sketch was prefect for that reason! Here's the sketch:

I also combined Scrap Our Stash Tic Tac Toe challenge:

 

I used the "toe" column (chipboard, arrows and twine).

Paper Secrets Challenge Layout Reveal

Hello! Just a quick post to share my layout I did for Paper Secrets Oct. 1st Sketch with a twist challenge.

The twist was to use dots and stripes.  I used this Authentique "Be (you) tiful" collection that I purchased from the Paper Secrets Store.
