Finally Completed some Challenges!

This month is flying by!!! I was finally able to complete a few challenges since I have been back from vacation.  Although my mojo may still be on vacation! lol!!! Here's what I did:

Challenges:

Scrap-Friendzy - Challenge#7 - I used Doily, lace, paint, tag, stamping, Embossing, inked edges and distressed edges.

AUGUST CHALLENGE

Hello scrappers!  Are you ready to break into your stash?  Well then this challenge is perfect for you!!! :)

August Challenge  - Layered Embellishment

For this challenge, you are to create your own layered embellishment.  Oh, and there is a catch! :)   You must use AT LEAST 3 items from this list:

• Tape (any kind - wash, cotton, etc)
• Doily
• Twine
• Chipboard
• Stickers
• Buttons 
• Metal

  Here's a close up on the layered embellishment I did.

 I used Chipboard under the flower and also the star on top of the flower. I also used bright colors and used a pin with a clear star for a challenge over at Scrap-Friendzy.

Last few days...

I had a wonderful time with GrandDiva-Brenda, who came to visit me for a few days.  We spent the days scrapping and eating!! LOL  I had a fantastic time and I was able to get 8 layouts and 1 card done!   I have already posted a few layouts, so here are some others:

 Here's a close up on my hand made sun. I bought a small piece of white fabric from Joanns.  I misted it and rolled it into a circle on top of a BasicGrey Diecut. I also added some pearls and sparkles to it.  I got this idea from a layout in the Scrapbook Trends magazine and just had to try it out! :)
