 Here's a close up on my hand made sun. I bought a small piece of white fabric from Joanns.  I misted it and rolled it into a circle on top of a BasicGrey Diecut. I also added some pearls and sparkles to it.  I got this idea from a layout in the Scrapbook Trends magazine and just had to try it out! :)

2 More Completed!

I just love challenges!!! They really inspire me and motivate me to get my pages done! :)  I have completed these two layouts:

The Pier

Supplies: MME paper and buttons, Jilliean twine, Kaiser pearls and AC Thickers.

 I created this layout for the MME fussy cut challenge.   I fussy cut the hexagons and the banner pieces.  I also used this collection for the Inspired By challenge over at Paper Secrets.  Lastly, I also followed a sketch for a challenge over at Granddiva's blog.

On The Go:

Supplies: October Afternoon's Sasparilla collection, Ruby Rock-It embellishments, Jillibean twine, Autumn Leaves stamp.

I used mostly BasicGrey's What's Up Collection, but also some Want 2 Scrap and Zva Bling, AC Thickers, and a doily. 


I have also used the song lyrics from Taylor Swifts song "Never Grow Up" for my journal and part title.  The song lyrics challenge was from Paper Secrets.  


Lastly, I used Martha Stewart punch for border and Marvy punches for the flowers and scallop circle for a challenge over at Frosted Designs.

Here is a little about Kerys:


Hi. My name is Kerys and I am now a SAHM living in UT. We moved to the USA from England in June 2010 and I began scrapping in January of last year, when my mum bought me lots of scrappy goodies for xmas (so that I wouldn't get bored in a new country!!!) Well - I have become obsessed!!! I am still 'developing' my style, but having SO much fun doing it! My favorite manufacturers have got to be Echo Park and My Minds Eye, although I just love anything paper!
My husband has put up with me for the last 13 years (although I do sometimes wonder if it should be the other way round - it was his idea to drag us half way around the world!!) after meeting at University in Wales. I've got 2 children. My boy just turned 12 last week! The last of the pre-teen years! My daughter will be 9 in September. My little firecracker! You will see that they are the main focus of layouts, although are beginning to become less willing to be photographed! :-) I've also got 3 fur babies too! 2 cats that came over from England with us and a puppy we got last year.
